Dallas and Washington clash in the nation's capitol on Sunday to highlight the NFL schedul for Week 8. After a 12-3 Week 7 , I'm sitting at 64-41 on the season heading into this week's predictions....so let's do that and predict some games!

Penn State's visit to Ohio State is the feature game of this week's NCAA slate. The Buckeyes will be looking to climb back into playoff contention against the undefeated Nittany Lions.

The Ravens need a win and the home field may work to their advantage in this one...

Chiefs-Raiders renew acquaintances

Kansas City travels to Oakland to kick off the football weekend NFL wise and Memphis travels to Houston for a Thursday night NCAA meeting.

Week 6 Thursday NFL

Philly swoops into Carolina for Thursday night battle

Philadelphia @ Carolina

The Eagles soar into Charlotte with a 4-1 record to face the Panthers who have the same record.

Both teams are coming off impressive wins last week and looking to keep the momentum going. Carolina will be hungry at home and looking for a quality win, The two teams have had some exciting finishes and this one could end up being decided in the final minutes. 

As far as results go, look for the Panthers to come away with the win

Interesting tilts in NFL and NCAA

Thursday night is highlighted by two big clashes in the football world, on the NFL side, New England will limp into Tampa fresh from a surprising home loss to Carolina while on the NCAA front, we have a ranked clash in Raleigh when Louisville drops in on NC State.

OK, to kick off the weekend, let's pick 'em!

New England @ Tampa Bay

The Pats have not been the all conquering team that everyone expected  to start the season, especially on the defensive side of the ball. They will face another test against the improved Buccaneers who will welcome Doug Martin back into action.

If the Bucs can control the clock and not make any mistakes in the passing game, the Pats could very well go home with a sub .500 record.

It will not be as high scoring as Pats games have been so far but could well be loss number three for them...

Louisville (17) @ North Carolina State (24)

Louisville travels to Raleigh for a tricky match up with NC State. The Wolfpack have won four straight after a season opening loss to South Carolina, the actual state has also been Louisville's downfall as the Cards only loss was to Clemson.

Louisville is looking to keep sight of an ACC title game chance and cannot afford another loss. NC State is looking to prove they belong...

Might be a Thursday night surprise!
