More Non-District games in Week 2

After getting our football fix last week high school wise, we delve into Week 2 with more games on tap throughout the area.

Last week, I finished 19-9 as a Varsity Forecster in the  Roanoke Times newspaper and had a 9-1 week in my selected Blog Picks to kick off the season.

That time of year NCAA Football Season

Are you ready?

2018 NCAA season is here

The 2018 NCAA football season goes full swing over the upcoming weekend with games on Thursday through Monday night.

As always, every team feels this could be the season for a title run and optimism is high.

Along with the typical "cash games", there are some early season conference tilts of note with Virginia Tech-Florida State and Northwestern-Purdue the highlight among them.

After all is said and done for the regular season....I'm going with three of last season's playoff teams and either Wisconsin/Miami Fla/Michigan to fill the fourth spot.

I will be taking a shot at the Fearless Forecaster competition in the Roanoke Times newspaper.

Last season's only unbeaten should extend their win streak to 14 to open the season.
