Big sports day ahead

Thursday has it all

On Thursday, sports fans will be spoiled for choice....there will be NCAA football, NFL football and the American League starts it's divisional playoffs in baseball.

So let's take a look at the action.

American League Divisional Series

Detroit vs Baltimore
This one kicks off in Baltimore where the Orioles have the unenviable task of facing the last three Cy Young Award winners Max Sherzer, Justin Verlander and David Price in the first three games of the five game series. Throw in the batting prowess of Miguel Cabrera, Victor and JD Martinez for Detroit as an additional factor leaving Baltimore having to overcome challenges that may be too tough.
Series Winner: Detroit 3 games to 1

Kansas City @ Los Angeles Angeles
Great to see the Royals advance but now they run into the wrecking ball that is the Los Angeles Angels. They will be scrappy, the Royals but that is not enough to get through this one.
Series Winner: LA Angels 3-0

NCAA Football

Arizona @ Oregon (2)
Undefeated and unranked Arizona travels to Duck country looking to surprise number two Oregon. I don't think the Ducks will take them lightly though.
Oregon 45-28

NFL Football

Minnesota @ Green Bay
The Packers welcome Minnesota to Green Bay looking to consolidate last weeks win in Chicago. The Vikings surprised Atlanta last week but face a tougher task this week in a division battle. The Packer should pick this one up.
Green Bay 35-24

Back tomorrow with more picks, predictions and ramblings!!
