NCAA and MLB fills Friday schedule..

Big day of baseball with NCAAF too

Sports fans, baseball ones especially can settle in for a full day of viewing as the MLB playoffs will have four games on the day. Late in the evening there will be a little football of the NCAA variety when Utah State visits 18th ranked Brigham Young for an in-state clash.

Ok.....let's look at 'em all.....

National League Divisional Series

San Francisco Giants @ Washington Nationals
The Giants blasted past Pittsburgh to earn a trip to the nation's capital. Now they face the well rounded Nationals in the NLDS. The American League saw two surprises for the opening of the ALDS but here, if the Giants can muster some steady production, they could derail the Nats....for a game!!
 Series Winner: Washington 3-1

Saint Louis Cardinals @ Los Angeles Dodgers
Though the Dodgers are expected to waltz through in some circles...I still like the adage of the biggest payroll does not always win this time of season. The Cardinals have been known to pull one out of the hat at times and this season, they may do it in the NLDS.
Series Winner: St Louis 3-2

As for Friday's games:

Detroit @ Baltimore
Tigers 4-2

San Fran @ Washington
Washington 6-1

St. Louis @ LA Dodgers
St. Louis 3-2

Kansas City @ LA Angels
LA Angels 7-2

NCAA Football

Utah State @ Brigham Young (18)
In state rivalries are always intense and this year, the Aggies would love to claim the scalp of undefeated BYU. But the Cougars would love to move further up the Top 25!
BYU 31-17

Back with more in around 24!!
